MarsRaps

I like listening to acoustic/alternative music mostly.

You know, 

John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Bethany Dillon, Dallas Green, Brooke Fraser, Colbie Caillat, Edwin McCain, Priscilla Ahn, James Morrison, Jon McLaughlin, Switchfoot & more.

But, 

I was youtubing random covers of songs and landed on MarsRaps's page.

He raps and sings.

Mostly raps though.

Normally I'm not so into the rapping scene.

Although Eminem has been on my playlist for awhile..

along with some others.

They're not my number one go-to-music.

However!

MarsRaps for some odd reason caught my ears!

I like him.

He's not as good as Eminem..

but he's good!  (haha)

No accident.

I'm reading the book, 

"Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren.

I've always started but never got to finishing it so this time,

I will finish.

I'm currently on chapter 7;

but chapter 2 struck me real hard.

We all know that God is perfect and makes no mistakes.

Did we also know that God made each and every one of us purposely?

Not a single person on this earth is an accident.

He never does anything accidentally.

God's Creations are laid out and made exactly as He has hoped for from living and non-living things.

Each and every one of us has been created with much love and detail.

Sometimes we doubt ourselves;

"why am i here?"

"urgh, why is God doing this to me?"

"why does everything go wrong?"

But don't give up.

Keep in mind that God has planned our lives way in advance.

He would never put us through anything we cannot handle.

Trust and have faith in Him.

asian fever

So I'm not the type to go ahead and download korean music..

at all actually.

During this past summer 2010,

I was in Seoul for an exchange program at Korea University.

I've met amazing friends, got to reconnect with my relatives and try the amazing food.

One thing that stuck with me everyday in Korea was the music.

Everywhere you go, korean music..

from stores, to restaurants, malls, bars, outside stores.. everywhere!

The mainstream korean songs were playing and got into my head where I would eventually recognize the songs and maybe even the words... 

I learned a lot about kpop artists.

Before going to Korea, 

I didn't know Taeyang was a part of Big Bang.

I knew there was a band named 2PM,

but I didn't know a 2AM existed... (I thought it was a joke)

I know, silly me, right?

Ever since I got back to Toronto,

I missed the korean music in my surroundings.

These days, I've been missing lots of Korea.

Tiffany is my bff

Tiffany & Co. has many beautiful jewelry pieces.

Every girl loves T&Co. because of their simplicity and of course, their packaging.

Who doesn't love the blue boxes with the white ribbons?

My eyes are locked on the "Tiffany Beads earrings in sterling silver" which are at a reasonable price, $120.

They're just plain silver balls... no writing or designs.

There isn't anything necessarily special about them either..

However, its simplicity brings out class..

which is a plus.

People say,

FALL;

Fortunately, or unfortunately,

fall has come.

The chilly, windy, crispy weather has arrived.

My favourite season is "sweater-weather",

aka; fall.

For those of you who dislike this season,

lets not get too disappointed...

Fall means;

A brand new school year begins,

Thanksgiving is coming up,

We fall back an hour,

Reading week is already in October,

Halloween is just around the corner,

The beautiful orange leaves begin changing colour then fall,

Christmas is a few months away,

And so the new year of 2011!
