Less is More!

Girls love make-up!
So many different shadows, liners, lip sticks, glosses.. blush!
Make-up helps us enhance our natural beauty that we are already given.

Sometimes,
celebrities have far too much make-up..
that they do not need!

Jessica Simpson

Lauren Conrad

Kate Moss

Kate Bosworth

Jessica Alba

Eva Longoria

Heidi Klum

Make-up isn't the only thing that makes a woman beautiful.
Sometimes,
less is more.

UGGs, warmer than mUGGs

UGG.
So basically,
UGGs are a pair of boots every girl should own.
They are the warmest, comfiest, and "snUGGiest" pair of boots you will ever wear out your door!
These boots are known for wearing a pair of jeans and tucking them inside your pair of UGGs.

Believe it or not,
UGG boots first started by a surfer from Australia!
Then,
taking the sheepskin boots to California,
the company began shaping up.

So,
does that mean that you only wear UGGs on the beach?
No.
These fluffy boots are the most popular pair of boots across the world.
With that being the case,
wear them in the city,
at the beach,
in the country,
in the winter,
the summer,
fall..

There are plenty of different ways to wear UGGs
while being able to dress them up with your mood!

Megan Fox- a white tee and jeans

Vanessa Minnillo- striped dress thigh high

Hilary Duff- from tanks, jackets, and hoodies with a pair of jeans!

Hayden Panetierre- spandex dress with cardigan

But it doesn't end there!
There are UGGs for guys too!!

Ricky Martin- black pants, parka, boots

Orlando Bloom- plaid shirt paired with black pants

Girls can't be selfish with hogging the slipper-like boots!
Boys,
come and join!

Coffee mUGGs will never beat the warmth of your Australian UGGs.

small town with big fun

London, Ontario.
A two-day trip to London with Jeff and Ihn to visit Eugene.

You'd think that there is absolutely nada to do in little old London..
But,
surprisingly,
it was a lot of fun.

On our way to London.

First stop,
the shop.
True Love: Tattoo and Piercing
This is the tattoo shop Eugene works at.
He is a professional
tattoo artist.
His finely detailed works of art,
creates beautiful originality and creativity on one's skin.

One of my favourites done by Eugene Lee (RiceEyes)

Second stop,
Eug's home.
While attempting to sing with his karaoke machine,
his very relaxed and pleasant father decided to put on a show with one of his korean songs.
It was beautifully sung with determination and passion.
For dinner,
we had a delectably, mouth-watering
bibimbap!
For those of you who do not know what bibimbap is..
It's white rice mixed with veggies (spinach, carrots, cucumbers...), egg, and spicy korean hot sauce.
And just to make the meal that much better,
an egg soup was added to complete the entire meal.
d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!

Third stop,
bowling at Fleetway!
Overly-crowded with Western University students,
this glow in the dark bowling alley was more than a good time.
With Ihn hitting all the strikes and spares,
the rest of us managed to enjoy our time with a strike and a spare every once in awhile.

Fourth stop,
Pochers.
This bar was full with students as well.
Drinking refreshing, ice cold pitchers of beer never tasted so wonderful.
This time,
we enjoyed our time at Pochers with Jeff, Eug, Ihn, Ryan, Nohl and two others.
Some great laughs and happy memories will last.
Oh, and this too of course.

Ryan being silly.
Eug drew a nose and a smile on Ryan's neck.

Fifth stop,
back to Eug's home.
While watching "The Blind Side",
Jeff quickly fell asleep in the blink of an eye (literally)

On our way back to Toronto,
the front windshield had frost bite!

London was entertaining.
I'm beginning to appreciate it much more now that I've experienced enough time there.
Next stop,
London, England.

Arizona Things!

Everyone has to admit..
We're all hooked on these 99cent Arizona Green Tea drinks (which are really like two bucks because they're not really 99cents even though it says it on the can -_- )
Okay sure,
there are countless different flavours now but,
the original Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey..
is by far the best,
correct?

But there are so many other interesting
Arizona Green Tea "things"...

I bought this 'Arizona Green Tea Ginseng & Honey' hot tea the other day.
Can you actually imagine yourself tasting the cold, refreshing Arizona Green Tea..
hot?
Surprisingly,
this hot tea version tastes wonderful!
It's intensely refreshing and keeps you 'oh, so warm'
It's perfect for in the morning, after a meal, late at night etc.
But!
Don't forget to add a hint of honey..
just to make your drink taste that much better!

In addition to these wicked drinks,
check out all these other gripping and entertaining 'Arizona Green Tea' products I've found!

Hello Kitty Necklace/Dogtag

Rubber Rain Boots

Cuffs (recycled from cans of tea!)

Replace a can of pop for a can of Arizona,
Or replace your morning coffee, non-fat latte, or americano
for an Arizona hot tea.

Go Pop!

Kensington Market is a really cool area
With vintage everything and amazing food.
The Supermarket is known to have amazing Pad Thai (trust me, it's wonderful!)

Every Wednesday,
The Supermarket has Wednesdays Go Pop!
This is a night where songwriters/aspiring pop artists come together..
to play a gig in the back room of the restaurant.

Tonight's performances were truly amazing.
There were three brilliantly talented musicians..
Theo Tams,
Leah Daniels,
and Mandippal Jandu.

Theo Tams was the 2008 Canadian Idol Winner.
His music is assuredly breath-taking.
Theo's voice is unbelievably crisp that makes your ears melt.

Leah Daniels is a Canadian born singer/songwriter.
Her voice is truly angelic
And sounds similar to Taylor Swift!
She has her own unusually unique style which allows her to stand out of the crowd.

Mandippal Jandu is a 23 year old Toronto based musician.
His commendable success has allowed him to be featured in
Rogers TV, OMNI TV and more.
His exceptionally amiable voice and catchy tunes makes you want to hear more and more!

Wednesdays Go Pop! at the Supermarket
is an remarkable opportunity to get your music out there and heard.
Open your windows and sing at the top of your lungs.
Pick up your guitar and head over to the Supermarket!

Below are a few photos from tonight's show.

You Hold Me Forever

So,
there are those times where we see life as a drag.
We struggle through rough times in our lives like,
family issues, broken friendships, break-ups, school, jobs etc.
As a Christian,
God is so powerful and He's the one and only one that is there for us 24/7.
This youtube video above is the song, You Hold Me Now by Hillsong United.
I love Hillsong.
They are so passionate about God.
They sing about God being there for us and holding us when we are in need of Him.
This is the chorus to the song which demonstrates God's love for us.
This shows how much He cares.
And that He is here for us no matter what.

"No weeping,
No hurt or pain.
No suffering..
You hold me now, You hold me now.
No darkness,
No sick or lame
No hiding..
You hold me now, You hold me now."

But,
who is God?
God is powerful.
God is wonderful.
God is loving.
God is patient.
God is our Creator.
God is so kind.
God never let us down.
God forgives.
God understands.
God listens.
God is eternal life.
God is holy.
God is positive.
God is everlasting.
God is perfect.

There are times where we may think..
"God probably doesn't even exist"
Or "God is stupid"
He has a remarkable plan for each and every one of us.
Through rigorous times,
we may think, "Why would God put us through these rough times?"
But He has a plan for each of us.
It's these weary times where we need to love God more than we have ever loved Him.
It's these weary times where we need to appreciate God for what He has done for us.
It's these weary times where we need to thank God for our surroundings.
All we need to do is have faith in Him because He will provide.

Thank you for the challenging times and for the outstanding moments.
You are so incredible.
You Hold Us Forever.
love, juliet
