Decided to continue my earrings-making collection.

I was inspired by a pair of Gorjana earrings I saw online.

Materials:

* Guitar strings (the thinner wire that wraps around)

* Swarovski Crystals

* Spare empty earrings

* Pliers

* Wire cutters

June babies are pearl babies

Matching accessories to your outfit is the hardest part of your whole ensemble!

Sometimes, certain people will add too much bling, some with no bling.

I have the perfect solution!

Pearls.

Pearls are always elegant and sophisticated.

They help bring out your feminine side in a classy way.

Pearls are one piece of jewelry that goes well dressed up or down.

They're timeless.. just like how "the little black dress" never gets boring or out of style!

However,

with every piece of jewelry, you need to take good care of them!

With pearls....

- wash them in warm water with some soap!

- dry them off with soft material like velvet or sunglass cloths.. you don't want to use anything like paper towel because it'll scratch your pearls!

- when you aren't wearing them, tuck em away in a cotton jewelry box

- always spray your perfume before putting on your pearls.. when the pearls get sprayed by perfume, they unfortunately ruin your pearls

Key: Faith

Most people ask for God's help when they're in trouble or in need of help.

Praying right before a test you haven't studied for..

Or praying before getting your report card when you know that you've been failing your tests...

Asking for His help in situations like these is good.

But, you need to be seeking Him always.

Have faith in whatever you do.

If you feel like the car you're sitting in won't hold you,

you won't get in.

If you don't have faith in God, 

He won't be able to give us His strength or bless us with His love.

Believe with no doubt that God will secure us with His love and strength.

Without faith, it's impossible to please God. 

If you want a response from Him, you need to put your complete trust and believe in Him in order for you to receive His rewards He has for you.

You have to only rely on Him and not others.

Always have faith in God that He can do wonders and make miracles.

Have faith that He will heal the sick, provide the poor, and comfort and love those in need.

If you put your complete trust in Him, He'll never fail you.

This week's "get the look" is by Fallon.
Here's a laid-back relaxed look!
A simple colourful horizontally-striped zip-up hoodie..
with a striped scarf tucked underneath works.
Although pairing pattern over pattern is a faux-pas,
since it's tucked in and it's the exact same pattern, it works here.
Adding the toque to the whole outfit adds a cozy & cute affect.
And ending it off with a pair of nice dark jeans allows the brighter colours to stand out.

Ironically, her outfit doesn't match the setting,
but works for me!

Top Model: Molly

America's Next Top Model is my favourite TV show.

It's currently on its 16th cycle and it only keeps getting better and better.

My favourite this season is the 22 year old, 5'10", Molly O'Connell.

Molly was born in Charleston, South Carolina and is a biology student.

Top Model is on every Wednesday at 8pm Eastern on the A Channel.

I'm forgiven therefore I forgive.

< I've sinned so much and have asked God for His forgiveness, but why do I still have the feeling of guilt? >

There is absolutely no sin that is too big or too small.

You understand 'guilt' but you don't fully understand the greatness of God's forgiveness.

When you accept Jesus as your Saviour, God promised that He would never stop forgiving you no matter what you do. 

He continues to purify us as we continue to try to live our lives as good Christians. 

God wants you to know that you are forgiven, but it's Satan that wants you to feel guilty. 

He wants you to have that guilty feeling as a separation from you and God.

Satan works in us but with the power of God,

we're able to fight back.

When Jesus died on the cross, He died to pay the penalty for ALL of our sins of the entire world.

Feelings can change easily; 

the weather, your school grades, your day at work, your menstrual cycle mood swings (hehe)..

But God's Word never changes. 

Put your faith in the facts of the Bible and not your feelings.

God is love; God loves His Creation; God loves you.

Live a life pleasing to God.

If you sin, don't pretend that it didn't happen and that you don't need forgiveness because it's no big deal;

.. confess your sins because God is faithful and just and will purify us from all that we've done.

Just as God forgives us, forgive others.

I'm forgiven, therefore I forgive.

"can we gain from pain?"

Struggles, pain, sufferings..

They are all a part of our everyday lives. 

But why is there so much of it if God is good?

Can we gain anything from all of this pain?

I've thought about this question over and over and it was hard to find the right answer on my own.

So I reached out to a friend and he helped me see it from a different perspective.

Pain and suffering come out as good purposes.

God works through our struggles for the better.

And with this pain, we need to get through them to be able to love because if this world were to be perfect, we wouldn't need God at all.

With all the negative things happening to us and in this world, 

it allows us to see God.

God's plan for us is just so much greater than anything in this entire world.

We need to have complete faith in order for God to work in and through us because He's not against us, He's on our side.

We need to give up our burden and have trust in Him.

God knows the end from the beginning and will definitely work it out perfectly as He already has everything planned out.

" 'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' "

-Jeremiah 29:11

Thank God for what we have and for already having our lives planned out perfectly.
